What are you doing ? A. Starting an online quarterly magazine for the multi Artist/Crafter. This is certainly a labor of love for me, yes I am footing the bill right now but as I go along hopefully advertising space will help ease that. How often can we expect an issue ? A. Four times a year: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring Is everything free ? A. Yes, for your PERSONAL USE ONLY. The full copyrights belong to the original Designers and Authors. Each pattern or article will have full contact information if you desire further copyright permissions. Remember Hook, Yarn, and Needles does not own the copyrights, you must contact the original creator of the content for information. Where are you ? A. Right here (hehehehe) Ok seriously Hook, Yarn, and Needles P. O. Box 864 Elko, NV 89803 Are you taking submissions ? A. Yes How much do you pay ? At this time, I am unable to pay for submissions but please consider submitting your design or article you do get a link to your website or blog (rememer this stays there even when the content goes into archive) and your email, a chance to get your name out there, online recognition, and many people who will appreciate your talents. You do not have to have this information there but how else will big publishers contact you ? |

Help stop crime against Designers and Authors: Please respect the copyrights of the Designers and Authors who generously share their talents with you. It is very hard work to design and write patterns and articles, copyright infringement will not be tolerated. I know some people unknowingly infringe copyrights so please do not think that I believe that everyone is bad bad bad, because that is not true. As stated in the FAQ's you will have full access to each Designer or Author contact information. It has been my personal experience that most Artist/Crafters are very approachable so please when in doubt, just ask them for their copyright policy. If you happen to see a copyright infringement, please contact me crochetqueen at frontiernet dot net or the original Designer or Author, Karma will smile brightly upon you. Together we can help stop this crime. Forum and Email Hook, Yarn, and Needles will NEVER ask you for any type of password, username, account number, home address, phone number, social security number. By signing up for our site and forum that is exactly what you are doing, nothing more. I do not pass along your information to ANYONE EVER, not even for advertising reasons. Please contact me immediately if you receive an email that asks for that information, I will personally take care of it, especially if my name is involved. I want Hook, Yarn, and Needles to be a safe place for everyone and I will not tolerate any spammer sneaky junk so remember if you get something like that, report it please. Mistakes and Errors Remember we are all human and rest assured everything possible will be done to avoid "Mistakes and Errors" but occasionally there will be some. I will confess right now I am the biggest offender and I try really hard not to be the biggest offender. Just let me know when you spot one and I will immediately get on it. Right now there is only one of me so be sure to keep me in line, really. |

What I am currently looking for are "Fall" related designs, beaded, crochet, knit, tat or anything else. I am also looking for craft related articles such as book, yarn, and gadget reviews. Tips, especially if that tip has saved you hours or makes your life so much easier. Please email me crochetqueen at frontiernet dot net (replace at with @ and dot with . type alltogether please) with a small picture (about 250 X 250) of your completed design, or your article idea making sure to put in the message info Pattern or Idea Submission so that it will get my immediate attention. ***Remember at this time I am unable to pay for your submission*** Make sure to read the FAQ's for more information about this new adventure. You retain FULL COPYRIGHTS to your submission, by submitting your design or article, the only thing you are basically giving to me is the right to post it and archive it here on Hook, Yarn, and Needles. You will have a clickable link to your website, blog or email at the bottom of your design or article. If I do accept and put online your design, you can still post YOUR design or article elsewhere because again you retain full copyrights to it. **I just want to clarify that you must be the original designer or author** Yes I will certainly take a submission that has already been on your website, the more the merrier. All types and levels of patterns and articles are appreciated. I want to keep Hook, Yarn, and Needles a Religious neutral place and the only way to do that is to not accept any type of Religious materials, this is so that it is fair to EVERYONE, no exceptions. Also keep in mind that there may be a younger crowd that may frequent here but again submit anyway if you have something you might consider "racey" and a warning can be placed. |

Where we want to bring you a nice variety of crochet, knit, bead, tatting, and anything else crafty patterns for ALL of your crafting needs. Please be sure to read our Legal and FAQ's , stop by our Forum and let us know what you are working on or ask questions. I will also be keeping a Blog that probably won't be that interesting but it will have all the new and improved or things that didn't work out on there. Although this is not up and running yet, I really wanted to say Thank You to all of you who have stuck with me all these years, some of you have given me more encouragement than you really know, without your words I am really nothing. Some of you (you know who you are) have had more faith in me than I have had in myself so here I go. My main idea is to bring everyone something exciting to look forward to, encourage people to write patterns, help people to learn something new, pass along yarn, book, cool gadget information (if you have something you want reviewed please send it to Hook, Yarn, and Needles P.O. Box 864 Elko, NV 89803) and of course to have fun. Hope I have not put you to sleep here and please submit your designs. |
